Indonesia Eximbank pushes export-ready SMEs with new Coaching Program at TEI 2026
At Trade Expo Indonesia, Indonesia Eximbank unveiled its Coaching Program for New Exporters to train MSMEs and boost export readiness, highlighted by a coffee export agreement.
Speaking at Trade Expo Indonesia 2026, Indonesia Eximbank emphasized its role in enhancing the global competitiveness of Indonesian MSMEs, which number about 65.5 million but only 15.7 percent export. Its Coaching Program for New Exporters (CPNE) provides tiered training—potential, export-ready and expert exporters—based on production scale, workforce size and export history. The program includes curation, mentoring and market-entry assistance, with expected outcomes of new exporters, products and markets.
At the expo, the bank displayed ten export-ready food and beverage firms and facilitated a deal where CV Mandiri Coffee from North Sumatra agreed to supply 5-7 tonnes of Arabica coffee to the Netherlands' Koffee Fabriek Group. Participants also receive business-matching sessions and support for international trade shows, aiming to broaden Indonesia’s export footprint.
