Influencer Isabel Raad's Ivorie Studio declared bankrupt amid customer claims and possible violations
Ivorie Studio, the fashion brand founded by influencer Isabel Raad, was placed into bankruptcy after more than 200 customers filed claims for undelivered goods, and a court-appointed trustee flagged potential tax and accounting breaches.
Ivorie Studio LLC, the clothing line launched by influencer Isabel Raad, was declared insolvent in Oslo, with a court-appointed trustee overseeing the process. More than 200 consumers have lodged claims for undelivered products, some valued at up to 4,000 kroner. The trustee, attorney Håvard Wiker, reported possible breaches of tax law and accounting regulations, citing the absence of a 2025 tax return and the lack of a required annual report.
He also observed that the company recorded sales of over one million kroner in the days before the bankruptcy petition was filed, prompting an inquiry into whether marketing efforts encouraged purchases despite impending insolvency. The trustee estimates the firm’s actual debt between three and six million kroner and notes that credit-card purchasers may be reimbursed, whereas other buyers may receive little or nothing. Raad has remained largely silent, referring only to ongoing legal proceedings, while the board, led by Synnøve Paus Hedberg, had previously decided to seek bankruptcy protection.
