Influencer Mounim Sabhi detained over alleged abuse of vulnerable livestream guests
French influencer Mounim Sabhi was placed in police custody after investigators linked him to alleged violence and humiliation of vulnerable people he hosted at a manor in Loir-et-Cher.
The public prosecutor of Blois announced that influencer Mounim Sabhi was taken into custody early Monday at the manor he occupies in Saint-Gervais-la-Forêt, Loir-et-Cher. Investigators allege that Sabhi subjected homeless and otherwise vulnerable guests to physical abuse and humiliating acts, recording the incidents and broadcasting them live on TikTok, Kick and Twitch. The case, under investigation since April 2026, cites six distinct offenses, among them violence against a vulnerable person, illegal dissemination of harmful images, and digital manipulation to impair judgment.
In addition to one outlet charges, Sabhi is under judicial supervision for alleged organized fraud, concealed work, misuse of assets and money laundering, and a separate probe into a possible rape is ongoing. He was previously sentenced in April for refusing to comply with police orders and driving while intoxicated.
