Inmate Chris Watts seeks marriage while dating Wisconsin realtor Lizzie Henderson

Chris Watts, serving a life sentence, is in a relationship with realtor Lizzie Henderson, who has applied for a marriage license to wed him.

Chris Watts, 41, convicted of killing his pregnant wife Shanann and their two young daughters in 2018, is reportedly dating Wisconsin realtor Lizzie Henderson, 39. Henderson relocated to Wisconsin to be close to the Dodge Correctional Institution, where Watts is held, and confirmed the relationship, describing it as private between her, Watts and God. In September, she filed paperwork to change her surname to Watts and has now asked prison authorities for permission to marry the inmate.

During visits, the pair were observed sharing a brief ten-second hug, the maximum physical contact allowed. Prison policy prohibits conjugal visits, but permits such short embraces at the end of a meeting. The marriage request must meet strict criteria and receive the warden’s approval before it can proceed.
