Interim Bangsamoro Parliament Passes 94 Autonomy Acts Since 2019

Since the establishment of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, the interim Bangsamoro Parliament, operating under the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, has approved 94 Bangsamoro Autonomy Acts. These statutes address a wide range of issues, including governance, public administration, education, health, social protection, human rights, local government, electoral matters, public finance, and culture. The legislation is intended to guide the region’s transition to a regular parliamentary system.
