Interim Prime Minister Bolojan meets Standard & Poor's to discuss Romania's fiscal outlook

At the Victoria Palace, interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan received a delegation from the international rating agency Standard & Poor's as part of its regular assessment of Romania's economic and fiscal health. Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare, Treasury General Director Ștefan Nanu and senior adviser Ionuț Dumitru also participated. The officials discussed the recent reduction in the budget deficit and the continued execution of fiscal measures.

Bolojan conveyed confidence that politicians interested in stability will uphold the government's policy line to preserve fiscal balance. He emphasized that the composition of the 2027 budget will determine whether the deficit-reduction trajectory can be maintained.
