Investigation continues as post-mortem finds no cause of death for bullied student

A 14-year-old student from a secondary school hostel in Kuala Pilah was found unconscious and later pronounced dead at Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital. An autopsy performed by Dr Akma Nurain Fairuz Mahamad Arif at the Forensic Medicine Department of Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital concluded without a definitive cause of death, prompting the need for additional testing. Negri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad reported that 21 witnesses, including students, teachers and the victim's parents, have been interviewed. Police have detained a 16-year-old boy to aid the inquiry and have remanded him, while the investigation proceeds under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
