Investigation reveals alleged PSOE scheme to pressure and discredit Judge Biedma

Journalists Alejandro Entrambasaguas and María Jamardo say the PSOE orchestrated a campaign to undermine Judge Biedma amid the high-profile David Sánchez case.

In a recent episode of Hechos Probados, Alejandro Entrambasaguas and María Jamardo examined claims that the PSOE used covert tactics to "eliminate" Judge Biedma. According to their account, party figure Leire Díez coordinated with a Badajoz narcotrafficking network to damage the judge's reputation and later seek her removal. The journalists referenced Cintia Rocho's admission that she received orders to sideline the magistrate.

They described direct commands from "field agents" of a group now investigated as a suspected criminal organization, which operated out of a rented apartment in Madrid. The alleged pressure on Biedma is tied to the widely publicised case involving David Sánchez, the brother of the head of government. The discussion was broadcast on one outlet's weekly show and is also available online.

Why it matters

It exposes potential political interference in the judiciary, raising concerns about rule of law and party corruption.
