iPhone 18 Pro launch lifts Electronics Mart, Redington and Eternal stocks above 8%
Shares of Electronics Mart, Redington and Eternal surged after the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max went on sale across India.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max launched nationwide, purchasable via Apple’s website, six physical stores and authorised third-party retailers, plus quick-commerce apps in selected cities. Following the rollout, Electronics Mart’s shares jumped more than 8% to a historic high of ₹200.87 on the NSE, reflecting its role as an Apple authorised reseller in India. Redington, a logistics distributor for Apple, saw its stock rise over 3% to an intraday peak of ₹413.20, marking a third consecutive gain day.
Eternal, which sells iPhones through Blinkit’s doorstep delivery, also rose for the third session, reaching ₹329.75, up 2.3%. Additional quick-commerce platforms like Zepto and Instamart listed the devices, while Swiggy’s parent company’s shares were largely unchanged. Apple simultaneously launched the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5, and announced that its first foldable iPhone Duo will be available on October 23, with pre-orders starting October 16. Analysts note that while premium pricing may limit volume, strong sales could boost profitability across the electronics distribution chain.
Why it matters
The launch drives major stock gains for key Apple distributors, signalling market response to high-end smartphone demand in India.
