Iran lists seven preconditions for any US negotiation on the conflict

Iran's top security official, Mohsen Rezaei, disclosed seven prerequisites that the United States must fulfill before any diplomatic talks can start. He communicated the list via a post on X, emphasizing that Tehran's stance is unmistakable and that Washington has no alternative but to recognize Iran's rights and demands. Rezaei previously informed one outlet that the conditions were transmitted to the U.S. through Qatar, the appointed mediator.

The core items include a complete cease-fire, the unfreezing of Iranian assets, and the removal of the naval blockade imposed by the United States.
