Iran's IRGC reports downing another US-made MQ-1 drone near Hormuz
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it shot down a second US-built MQ-1 surveillance drone in airspace east of the Strait of Hormuz.
According to statements relayed by Mehr news agency, Iran's IRGC intercepted a second MQ-1 drone operating near the eastern side of the Strait of Hormuz. The drone type is primarily used for reconnaissance and is developed in the United States. This incident follows three other interceptions of similar drones in recent days, bringing the total to four. Iranian air defenses continue to monitor the strategic waterway closely.
