Iranian foreign minister says UN trip aimed at building peace, not war
Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said the delegation attended the UN General Assembly to pursue peace with the United States, while stressing Iran will stay firm against any aggression.
During the recent UN General Assembly in New York, Abbas Araghchi emphasized that Iran's presence was intended to foster diplomatic solutions rather than promote conflict. He noted that President Pezeshkian accompanied him and that Iran remains resolute in the face of any hostile actions, even a potential large-scale war. At the same time, Araghchi expressed readiness for genuine diplomatic engagement.
