Iranian military says it is ready for any further US strikes
Iran's army spokesperson said the forces are prepared for any renewed U.S. attack, warning of greater damage if Washington strikes again.
Following President Donald Trump's rejection of Tehran's proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's armed forces reiterated their readiness for any renewed American attack. Army spokesperson Mohammad Akraminia told state media that the military is fully prepared for confrontation and cautioned that a new U.S. strike would inflict greater damage on America. In a separate statement, Army Commander-in-Chief Amir Hatami described the war as being at a critical, decisive stage, insisting that Iran will not tolerate a scenario that prevents its trade.
He emphasized the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, calling it a symbol of Iran's dignity and warning that if Iran cannot trade, no one will be able to. Both officials signaled that Tehran will resist any attempts by foreign powers to control the chokepoint while its people suffer.
