Iranian President Pezeshkian Links Resistance to US and Israel with Anti-Bullying Stance

Speaking to religious scholars, intellectuals and businesspeople in India on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, President Masoud Pezeshkian asserted that Iran’s resistance to the United States and Israel is fundamentally a reaction against bullying and a commitment to aid oppressed populations. He warned that bullies, oppressors and those who depend on force will ultimately meet defeat or destruction, and that individuals, families and rulers will be judged for their treatment of others and willingness to help those in need.
Pezeshkian dismissed the notion that a strong government is entitled to force its decisions on other nations, labeling such behavior as illegitimate. He accused the United States of seeking to prevent national independence, intensifying pressure, conflict and attempts to create divisions within Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Emphasizing equal rights, he called for nations and peoples to coexist through justice and fairness.
