Israel poll shows Eisenkot and Netanyahu blocs locked at 52 seats each
A new Kan 11 poll projects the Eisenkot and Netanyahu blocs to each win 52 Knesset seats, tying them in the upcoming election.
Kan 11 released a poll indicating a dead heat between the blocs headed by former IDF chief Gadi Eisenkot and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, each projected to capture 52 seats in the Knesset. The poll, run by Kantar among 552 participants with a 4.2 percent margin of error, also forecasts Arab parties winning 12 seats and Yoaz Hendel's party obtaining four. Likud rises to 21 seats, while Eisenkot's Yashar party falls to 23.
Naftali Bennett's Together party drops to 11 seats, and both Yisrael Beiteinu and the Democrats rise to nine seats each. Smaller parties such as Otzma Yehudit, Shas, United Torah Judaism, the Joint List, Religious Zionism and the United Arab List are each projected to hold between five and seven seats, and the Amcha Yisrael party led by Ofer Winter could win four. Parties failing to cross the threshold include Benny Gantz's Blue and White, the Haredi Public party and Noam.
