Israeli air strike knocks out electricity in Lebanon's Nabaa el-Hamas area
An Israeli strike on al-Khiam damaged power lines, causing a full blackout in the Nabaa el-Hamas district of southern Lebanon.
Overnight, Israeli aircraft hit al-Khiam in the Nabatieh Governorate, destroying electricity infrastructure and leaving the Nabaa el-Hamas neighbourhood without power. The National News Agency said the blast also generated strong shockwaves across the south. Earlier in the week, Israeli artillery shelled Al-Mansouri and Baraachit, and forces moved toward Mansouri, using bulldozers and planting explosives in several homes, especially in the town’s Fourth Neighbourhood.
