In a night-long operation, Israeli artillery shelled the Mansouri and Majdal Zoun areas of the Tyre district and the Wadi Hassan valley on the outskirts of Majdal Zoun. The same forces also dropped bombs on the municipalities of Barashit and Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil district of the Nabatieh Governorate. Israeli warplanes conducted low-level flights over the city of Tyre and surrounding towns and villages.
