Israeli envoy visits Naga to study Jesse Robredo's public-service legacy
Israeli Ambassador Dana Kursh toured Naga City on Oct. 5, meeting Mayor Leni Robredo and exploring the Jesse Robredo Museum to learn about his reform-focused tenure.
During a Monday visit, Ambassador Kursh met with Naga Mayor Leni Robredo at City Hall before entering the Museo ni Jesse Robredo. The tour highlighted Jesse M. Robredo’s 19-year mayoral record, noted for transparency, accountability and citizen participation. His governance later earned the Ramon Magsaysay Award. The diplomatic stop underscored Israel’s interest in local governance models.
