Israeli forces and settlers carry out multiple West Bank raids, detaining Palestinians and causing injuries
Israeli troops and settlers launched a series of raids across the occupied West Bank, detaining dozens of Palestinians, injuring children and adults, and targeting homes and property.
Israeli security operations intensified across the occupied West Bank, with eight Palestinians detained during raids in Jenin and nearby villages on Sunday. In Bethlehem, 15-year-old Majed Maher Abdel Fattah and 14-year-old Ahmad Mahmoud Shokeh were taken from their home. Military measures at the Atara checkpoint north of Ramallah blocked vehicle movement, causing severe congestion.
A Palestinian man was wounded by gunfire in Silwan, near the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and a 68-year-old man suffered back and chest injuries while a 14-year-old boy broke his hand during an Israeli raid on Marka. Israeli bulldozers began leveling Palestinian-owned land and reopening roads for settler traffic, according to Amin Abu Alia of the Al-Mughayyir Village Council. Settlers attacked homes in Yasuf and Burqa, and soldiers confiscated a bulldozer belonging to a resident of Bidya. Further arrests occurred in Deir Abu Daif, Faqqua, Zububa, al-Silah al-Harithiya, Tammun and Tayasir, while a Palestinian businessman in East Jerusalem was forced to demolish five of his shops under threat of heavy fines.
