Israeli settlers attack West Bank village, damage cars and ambulance under police watch

A raid on the West Bank village of al-Mughayyir saw masked Israeli settlers smash cars, throw rocks at locals and assault a Palestinian ambulance that was trying to aid the injured. The assault occurred under the apparent protection of Israeli border police, who also entered a western house, searched it and deployed tear-gas grenades, though no injuries were reported. Settlers stole agricultural equipment from a nearby sheep farm, and Israeli forces briefly detained multiple villagers, including women and children, at the village entrance, subjecting them to mistreatment before releasing them.

Amin Abu Alia, head of the village council, relayed these details to the Palestinian news agency Wafa. Video of the incident was shared on X by activist Ihab Hassan. The incident highlights ongoing tensions and the role of Israeli forces during settler violence in the occupied territories.
