Israeli strike injures at least nine Palestinians, including children, in Khan Younis

An Israeli military attack on Khan Younis wounded nine Palestinians, among them children, who were taken to a field hospital for care.

The Israeli forces carried out an operation in Khan Younis that left at least nine Palestinians injured, including several children. The wounded were transported to the al-Mawasi field hospital operated by the Palestine Red Crescent Society. Gaza’s health ministry reports that the conflict has resulted in over 174,682 injuries and at least 73,670 deaths. Ongoing blockades hinder rescue efforts, leaving many presumed dead buried under rubble.

Why it matters

The attack adds to the growing civilian toll in Gaza and highlights the difficulties of providing medical aid under blockade conditions.
