The strike occurred after midnight and was part of a recent wave of house bombings, with at least six homes hit in the past two days, prompting many families to flee.
Israeli warplanes also fired on tents in the Jabalia refugee camp, hitting displaced-person shelters, ambulances and near Kamal Adwan Hospital, while naval vessels opened fire off Khan Younis. The attacks breach the U.S.-backed cease-fire that has been in effect since October 2025, under which more than 1,300 Palestinians have been killed. The Israeli military offered no comment, and Gaza’s government media office denied that civilian homes were legitimate targets.
