Israeli troops wound Palestinian driver, detain two suspects in Hebron area

Israeli security units entered the town of Beit Ula, located west of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, and opened fire on a civilian car, seriously injuring the driver and igniting the vehicle, which was later taken to a medical centre for treatment. Following the incident, the troops arrested two Palestinians: Yousef Naeem Sabarneh of Beit Ummar and Ziad Badawi Hamdan of Al-Tabaqa in Dura. Additional military checkpoints were established at multiple entrances to Hebron and surrounding villages, limiting local travel.

Meanwhile, footage released by Quds News Network showed Russian journalist Andrey Khrzhanovsky confronting Israeli soldiers in Burqa, east of Ramallah, after documenting alleged settler attacks. The video depicted masked soldiers aiming rifles at the journalist. These developments highlight heightened tensions and increased security measures in the region.
