During the Los Angeles debut of The End of Oak Street, producer J.J. Abrams addressed circulating fan theories linking the movie to his Cloverfield franchise, stating the only overlap is actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, a former lead in 10 Cloverfield Lane.
