Jackery unveils lighter, smaller Explorer Plus v2 power stations in the UK

Jackery launched the Explorer 1000 Plus v2 and Explorer 2000 Plus v2 in the UK on 14 October, offering reduced size and weight while keeping high-capacity output.

Jackery introduced the second-generation Explorer Plus portable power stations in the United Kingdom on 14 October 2026, following their debut at the IFA Berlin trade show. The Explorer 1000 Plus v2, at 10.8 kg and 31.35 × 20.1 × 23.35 cm, offers 1,024 Wh capacity, 1,800 W AC output and accepts up to 400 W of solar input, making it 44% smaller and 26% lighter than the prior model. The larger Explorer 2000 Plus v2 weighs 18.8 kg, measures 36.6 × 25.5 × 27.2 cm, and provides 2,048 Wh, 2,400 W AC output and up to 800 W solar input, a 60% size reduction and 33% weight cut.

Both units feature Jackery’s automotive-inspired Cell-to-Body battery architecture and can be expanded with Battery Pack 2000 modules to reach up to 11 kWh and 12 kWh respectively. Safety is emphasized through ceramic-coated LFP cells, 6,000-cycle durability and 10 ms UPS switching. Early-bird pricing runs from £599 for the 1000 Plus v2 (down from £749) to £949 for the 2000 Plus v2 (down from £1,249), with bundled options also available.

Why it matters

The launch gives consumers more portable, expandable power options for camping, travel and home backup.
