Jaguar unveils interior details of its all-electric Type 01 concept

Jaguar released new images showing the minimalist cabin of its upcoming electric Type 01, featuring a beige interior, a central smartphone-style screen and a low-profile driver seat.

Jaguar has shared fresh visuals of the interior of its forthcoming all-electric Type 01, highlighting a very beige cabin split by a spine that runs the length of the space. The design includes a low-slung driver’s seat and a narrow dashboard centered around a smartphone-style display. A ClearSight Rear View Display replaces the traditional mirror, placed at the bottom of the windshield at the same height as the door mirrors to aid driver focus.

The company notes the presence of concealed compartments and technologies that appear only when needed, though these are not discernible in the released images. This model succeeds the polarising Type 00 concept introduced in 2024 and marks the first production vehicle built on Jaguar’s Electric Architecture. A camouflaged prototype will be shown at Monterey Car Week, with a full reveal scheduled for October 6.
