Jan Böhmermann announces the end of ZDF Magazin Royal after six years
Satirist Jan Böhmermann confirmed that ZDF will discontinue his show ZDF Magazin Royal, while the broadcaster plans to keep working with him on a new project.
The public broadcaster ZDF stated that one outlet iteration of ZDF Magazin Royal, hosted by Jan Böhmermann, will be terminated after a six-year run. Böhmermann said he wants to launch a different format.
