Japan launches discounted travel scheme for quake-hit Kumamoto and Nagasaki

The government-backed campaign began accepting bookings on Tuesday, providing 60% price cuts for hotels in Kumamoto and Kagoshima, where cancellations surged after the quake. In Nagasaki, discounts of 50% are available, while the remaining Kyushu prefectures will start taking reservations later.
