Jay-Z, Aaron Judge and Other Stars Back Tom Brady’s CardVault Expansion
Tom Brady’s CardVault trading-card chain has secured investment from more than a dozen celebrities, including Jay-Z and Aaron Judge, to fund new stores and growth initiatives.
CardVault by Tom Brady, a retail concept for buying, trading and grading sports cards and collectibles, announced that a group of more than a dozen celebrities and public figures have become investors. Among the new backers are rapper Jay-Z, Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge, Oilers captain Connor McDavid, UFC chief Dana White and Raising Cane’s founder Todd Graves. Ed Kane, co-founder of CardVault, said the goal was to enlist partners who could actively contribute to the company’s expansion strategy.
Since Brady’s involvement began in February 2025, the chain has expanded from three to 17 locations in states including California and New York. The venture aims to eventually operate over 100 stores in premier sports and entertainment venues and to broaden its reach through automated retail, digital commerce and strategic partnerships. Brady emphasized that modern collecting is about community and storytelling, not just owning cards.
