Jeff Winther clinches Danish Golf Championship with dramatic finish over Rasmus Højgaard

Jeff Winther ended a four-year drought by winning his second DP World Tour event at the Danish Golf Championship. After Rasmus Højgaard forced a tie with an eagle chip on the 17th, Winther answered with an eagle on the 16th, having landed his tee shot on the green of a 304-yard par four. He then posted a steady par on the 17th and 18th, finishing at five-under-par 67.

The Danish champion secured a two-shot advantage over China's Yanhan Zhou, who missed a chance to tie by three-putting a potential hole-in-one on the 18th. Winther's triumph was confirmed as Zhou made a bogey, leaving the Dane with a three-stroke margin at his home tournament.
