JeM's Bahawalpur headquarters rebuilt after Operation Sindoor damage
The main Jaish-e-Mohammed compound in Bahawalpur has been fully restored, featuring new domes, marble flooring and repaired interiors.
Extensive repairs to the Markaz Subhanallah facility, Jaish-e-Mohammed's chief base in Bahawalpur, have been completed following the severe destruction caused by India's Operation Sindoor. New video shows the site fully functional, showcasing rebuilt domes, fresh plaster, paint and marble flooring that hides earlier blast damage. The central hall's deepest blast zones were filled with concrete, and adjacent buildings, including the Al-Sabir seminary and leadership housing, were demolished to allow fresh construction.
Intelligence indicates Pakistani authorities transferred 250 million PKR to JeM, with roughly 110 million PKR dedicated to the complex's rebuild over a fifteen-month span. As Masood Azhar battles health problems, command of the facility has shifted to his brothers Talha Al-Saif and Mohinuddin Aurangzeb (also known as Ammar Alvi). Senior figures Masood Azhar and Rauf Asghar continue to be sheltered under government protection in Nawabshah district, Sindh.
