Jims gym chain hit by cyberattack exposing member personal data in Belgium
A cyberattack on Jims gym chain compromised personal information of members linked to dozens of its Belgian clubs.
The breach affected data such as names, addresses, birth dates, email addresses, membership details and, in some cases, IBAN numbers for members of up to 31 Jims locations in Belgium. Hanne Poppe, press officer for Colruyt Group, which owns Jims, confirmed that passwords and health records were not accessed. The hacking group claims to hold the stolen data, according to the monitoring site Frenchbreaches.
