Joe Rogan Dismisses Trump’s Lake Ontario Renaming as War Distraction

During Tuesday’s episode, Joe Rogan suggested that Donald Trump’s executive order to rename Lake Ontario “Lake America” is a tactic to shift focus from a losing conflict in Iran. He called the renaming nonsensical, pointing out the lake’s name existed before the founding of the United States and Canada. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney responded on social media, ridiculing Trump’s habit of rebranding geographic features and affirming the lake’s traditional name.

One outlet/Ipsos survey indicated that 63 percent of U.S. respondents disapproved of the change. Rogan also promoted a discredited theory that COVID-19 vaccination raises miscarriage risk, citing Senator Ron Johnson and accusing Dr. Anthony Fauci of lying, despite a University of Edinburgh review finding no such link.
