Judge delays Milania Giudice's court date to allow completion of anger-management course

Milania Giudice, the 20-year-old daughter of Teresa Giudice, attended a virtual session at Montville Township Municipal Court, where her attorney said the prosecutor asked for a delay to permit her to finish an anger-management course. The judge agreed, also indicating that the state must review discovery and speak with officers, and scheduled a new date of Sept. 22. The charge against her is simple assault, arising from a May 14 domestic dispute at her mother and stepfather Luis Ruelas' New Jersey residence, where she allegedly struck a person in the head with her fist.

At the time of arrest, police reports described her throwing food and candles, with no weapons involved. Giudice entered a not-guilty plea and has not spoken publicly about the case since a June 29 TikTok video addressing a circulating mugshot.
