Judge summons Quirón executive over alleged commission scheme with Ayuso's partner
Judge Antonio Viejo has ordered Fernando Camino, director of Quirón Prevención, to appear on 3 December as a suspect in a commission alleged to involve Alberto González Amador, partner of Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
Antonio Viejo, the investigating judge, has set a hearing for 3 December for Fernando Camino, head of Quirón Prevención, to be questioned as an investigated party in a suspected commission scheme linked to Alberto González Amador, the partner of regional president Isabel Díaz Ayuso. Prosecutors claim the two concealed a portion of earnings from pandemic-era mask sales. In 2020, González Amador acquired Círculo de Belleza SL from Gloria Carrasco at a price that far exceeded the company's modest turnover and assets.
A parallel line of inquiry focuses on Camino's role as a board member of the Galician firm Mape, which allegedly helped secure a multi-million-euro purchase of protective gear for a Catalan company, with a pre-arranged commission for Ayuso's partner. The judge has previously authorized the Guardia Civil to trace bank accounts of González Amador and Carrasco, and the case remains under active investigation.
