Julia Donaldson unveils new Gruffalo adventure 22 years after the last sequel
Julia Donaldson has released a third Gruffalo book, titled Gruffalo Granny, more than two decades after The Gruffalo’s Child.
The celebrated children's author introduced Gruffalo Granny, the newest entry in the Gruffalo series, marking the first new story since 2004. The plot follows the Gruffalo and his daughter as they journey through the deep dark wood to prepare a feast for Granny’s visit. Axel Scheffler provides the illustrations, bringing back familiar characters such as Fox, Owl and Snake. The release adds to Donaldson’s well-known catalogue that includes titles like Room on the Broom and Stick Man.
