Julia Koch Expands Hamptons Holdings with Multi-Million Dollar Family Compound
Julia Koch is assembling a new family estate on Meadow Lane in the Hamptons, funding extensive multi-million-dollar renovations.
Julia Koch, valued at roughly $81.2 billion, is quietly consolidating her real-estate portfolio on the Hamptons’ famed Meadow Lane. After purchasing a nearby lot for $33.5 million, she plans to link it with two existing residences to create a private compound for her three children, the offspring of the late David Koch. Renovation efforts are already underway on a 22,000-square-foot Tudor-style house she bought in 2022 for $75 million, with a multi-million-dollar budget to update its interiors and bring it up to contemporary standards.
The property boasts 500 feet of ocean frontage and fifteen bedrooms, while an adjacent $18 million mansion also belongs to her. Known for high-profile restorations, Koch previously enlisted designer Peter Marino for her Upper East Side townhouse and earned a Ballinger Award for a Palm Beach project. Though rarely seen publicly, she was recently spotted at events hosted by Lally Weymouth and Robert Kraft.
