In the movie, Moore portrays Mona Friedman, a shy housewife who becomes an obsessive method actor while defending her small theater role.
The award was confirmed by Salvatore Nastasi, who leads the Fondazione Cinema per Roma, the organization that oversees the festival. This marks Moore’s second collaboration with Eisenberg after his 2022 directorial debut “When You Finish Saving the World.” The festival is scheduled to run from Oct. 13 through Oct. 25 in Rome, Italy.
