The partnership merges Junglee’s focus on narrative-centric development with Pen Studios’ strength in production and theatrical distribution across India and overseas markets.
Vineet Jain of the Times Group, which owns Junglee, praised the creative synergy, while Pen Studios’ chair Jayantilal Gada emphasized the film’s potential to spark conversation. “Daayra” will hit cinemas on September 18, marking the start of the companies’ joint slate.
