Juventus eye Real Madrid goalkeeper Lunin as potential summer signing

Juventus have been presented with the opportunity to acquire Ukraine keeper Andriy Lunin from Real Madrid before the transfer window closes.

Real Madrid are unlikely to add new signings this summer, yet a handful of departures are anticipated before the window ends. Among those, goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, a 27-year-old Ukrainian international, has been linked to a move to Juventus after the Italian side failed to secure Parma’s Zion Suzuki. Lunin, whose contract runs to 2030, impressed in a recent friendly but currently serves as a deputy to Thibaut Courtois.

Juventus, looking to bolster their goalkeeping options, are also evaluating Guglielmo Vicario and Anatoliy Trubin. While Lunin may eventually aim to become Madrid’s first-choice keeper, reports suggest he is not yet deemed ready to replace Courtois, making a transfer plausible though not imminent.

Why it matters

The potential move could reshape Juventus' goalkeeping lineup and affect Real Madrid's future squad planning.
