Jysk posts strong revenue gains worldwide and in Hungary amid store expansion

Jysk announced double-digit revenue growth both globally and in its Hungarian operations, with a rise in customers and several new stores.

Jysk’s latest figures show global revenue of 52.3 billion Danish kroner, marking a 12.9% rise from the previous year. Hungarian operations mirrored this trend, delivering two-digit growth and attracting roughly 212,000 additional customers, a 6.1% increase. The retailer expanded its footprint with four new stores, two enlargements and ten refurbishments across the country.

Its export revenue for the year hit 90.7 billion forints, surpassing domestic sales. A key regional hub in Ecser, built under a 200-million-euro investment, features a 43-metre automated high-bay warehouse that serves stores in Croatia, Slovakia and Slovenia. These developments underline Jysk’s continued expansion in Central Europe.
