KAIYI X7 Hybrid Rolls Out to Central Asia, Africa, South America and Middle East
Yibin Kaiyi International Trade Co Ltd says its X7 Hybrid SUV has entered markets across Central Asia, Africa, South America and the Middle East since its April 2026 debut.
KUALA LUMPUR - Yibin Kaiyi International Trade Co Ltd, a branch of KAIYI Auto, reported that its X7 Hybrid sport-utility vehicle has been launched in Central Asian, African, South American and Middle Eastern markets following its global premiere in April 2026. The model showcases a digital light front fascia with sigma-shaped daytime running lights, a triangular grille drawing design cues from the Kunlun Mountains, and a suite of lighting technologies such as automatic beam switching and animated lock-unlock signals.
Measuring 4,710 mm in length, 1,955 mm in width and 1,715 mm in height on a 2,800 mm wheelbase, the SUV is engineered to reduce drag through rear-ward airflow management. It also features power-retractable door handles that can break up to 20 kg of ice, 20-inch sport wheels on 255/50 R20 tyres, and full-width LED taillights with an illuminated badge. Kaiyi indicated that the X7 Plus, offering both petrol and hybrid powertrains and refreshed styling, will reach global markets in 2027.
Why it matters
The expansion shows Kaiyi's push into emerging markets, widening competition in the global SUV segment.
