Kalisz urges police to detain Constitutional Court head over judge exclusions

He maintained that the law requires the oath to be made to the presidential office, not a specific officeholder, and that a written oath filed with the President's Chancellery would satisfy the requirement.

Describing Święczkowski's actions as an abuse of power, Kalisz said the prosecutor could seek his detention if the investigation into the judge exclusions continues. He also rejected claims of a forced takeover of the court, labeling them as partisan rhetoric, and emphasized that state authority includes police enforcement of the law. The matter is under a prosecutorial inquiry, with dozens of witnesses already questioned, including President Nawrocki.
