Kargil veteran alleges parking attendant assaulted him with iron rod in Gurgaon

A retired Indian Air Force Group Captain and Kargil War veteran, Amit Kumar Gupta, reported that a parking attendant at Magnum Global Park in Gurgaon assaulted him with an iron rod on September 10. According to his complaint lodged at Sector 65 police station, the attendant initially directed Gupta through several parking zones before refusing to park his vehicle, prompting Gupta to reverse his car. The attendant allegedly struck the windshield and later returned with a metal rod, hitting Gupta’s hand and then his head, causing severe bleeding.

Gupta was rushed to Medanta Hospital by his family and is still hospitalized. He has asked authorities to register an attempt-to-murder case against the attacker. The incident occurred after Gupta dropped his family at the Gonzo restaurant for dinner.
