KB Kookmin Bank and SAP Korea team up to embed finance in enterprise software

KB Kookmin Bank and SAP Korea announced a memorandum of understanding to co-create SaaS products that fuse banking services with corporate software. The collaboration will focus on three pillars: building new SaaS tools on the SAP Business Technology Platform, integrating third-party solutions under white-label arrangements, and connecting ERP systems with financial services for seamless, “invisible” banking. The partners also plan joint marketing and sales efforts to reach corporate customers.

SAP Korea highlighted its recent cloud security certification by the Financial Security Institute, while both CEOs emphasized the goal of a secure, convenient embedded-finance ecosystem. The initiative reflects growing competition in ERP-based banking solutions.
