The JPBN secretariat reported that the Surau As Saadiah centre in Kuala Muda began operations at 10 am, accommodating 24 people from seven households. In the Yan district, a shelter at Sekolah Kebangsaan Teroi was also established, though officials are still compiling the exact count of victims and families placed there.
