Kelly Osbourne countered on Instagram Stories, describing Snider’s criticism as "spectacularly classless" and emphasizing her father’s enduring influence as a musician, songwriter, and bandleader.
She highlighted Ozzy’s nearly six-decade career, from shaping heavy metal with Black Sabbath to a prolific solo catalog, and argued that Snider’s remarks were an attempt to elevate his own profile. Snider later posted that he harbors "nothing but love for Ozzy" and explained his sensitivity to credit and royalties as a songwriter. Neither Kelly’s nor Snider’s representatives offered additional remarks. Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, at age 76, with his death certificate citing cardiac arrest, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson’s disease as contributing factors.
