On August 31, Kenan Yildiz underwent an operation on his left foot to repair a fracture at the base of the fifth metatarsal, performed by Dr Martin Jordan at the Augsburg Hessingpark Klinik with club doctor Dr Marco Freschi present. The procedure was reported as fully successful and rehabilitation is set to begin as early as the next day. Meanwhile, Jeff Ekhator, after a right-thigh muscle issue in training, underwent radiological tests at J|Medical, which identified a moderate-grade injury to his semitendinosus muscle. Further examinations are planned in two weeks to clarify his recovery timeline.
