In a Bengaluru special court hearing, a key witness in the ongoing rape trial of former MP Prajwal Revanna disclosed that she had been subjected to threatening phone calls after completing her evidence on July 6, 2026. The witness, a 43-year-old social worker from Holenarasipura in Hassan district, expressed fear for her and her son’s safety and urged that the accused be held accountable for any harm. Protective measures were also ordered for the witness under applicable law.
