Khareef Dhofar sees 8.6% rise in visitors, topping 1.1 million this season
Visitor numbers to Khareef Dhofar between June 21 and August 31 reached 1,116,051, an 8.6% increase over the same period last year.
The National Centre for Statistics and one outlet reported that 1,116,051 tourists visited Khareef Dhofar from June 21 to August 31, up 8.6% from the previous year. Omani nationals made up 73.2% of arrivals, totaling 816,719 visitors. Guests from GCC countries numbered 183,861, while other foreign visitors were 115,471. Land crossings accounted for 831,384 arrivals, a 7.6% rise, whereas air arrivals reached 284,667.
